Liability Claims

Incidents give rise to claims under Employers Liability, Public Liability and many Combined type policies. Claims arise in many varied ways from a trip or fall on a public footpath to an accident at work. Policy cover issues are often complex and careful consideration needs to be given to the involvement of other parties. Cases may involve personal injury or property damage.

Typically we will visit the scene of the incident and take statements from relevant witnesses. Careful arrangements are made with the insured at an appropriate level usually through a broker.

Photographs and measurements (where relevant) are taken and these are submitted with our report where any additional information which we can discover (such as the involvement of third parties or subcontractors) is also passed on.
