At Higgins Claims Services we provide quality claims investigation and loss adjusting services to Irish and international insurers and to self insuring companies. Allied to this we provide training and claims recovery services to our clients. We operate primarily in the province of Munster serving Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford. We provide a wide range of services including Investigation, handling and adjusting and we are happy to bring our wide experience to bear for the benefit of our clients.

We have examined literally hundreds of individual incidents as part of our investigation service. This involves calling to the premises or visiting the scene of accidents usually with the client. We take photographs and measurements where appropriate. We also interview witnesses providing typed and handwritten statements that will help in assessing the claim. We then provide a detailed report to our clients. Our reports are very thorough concentrating on the facts of the incident while looking at the potential responsibilities of the parties, legal implications and any other information that may help in dealing with the claim.

Our loss adjusting services are carefully tailored to the needs of our clients. We are known for our prompt action and a desire to meet policy holders needs and expectations while delivering value to all. Typically our work is for specific client groupings where special service is required. We are in a unique position to deliver that in this area as one of the few independent adjusters still working only for insurers and the self insured.

The face of the Irish Compensation system is changing rapidly. Our indepth research coupled with many years of experience allows us to provide top class advice across a range of different incident types. Our systems allow us to deliver this service promptly and efficiently, This has become an important factor with the introduction of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board. Lastly our efficient cost structure and the use of technology allows us to deliver our customer’s requirements with real quality while minimising cost.

We also hope that this site can be of some service to the people we work with. We’ve got some great links to other sites in Ireland and the UK that claims handlers might find useful. We are also collecting useful information for those involved in Claims especially in Ireland and quick access to this information can be found here. If you would like to suggest other items of interest or links please send us an email.
