Video Technology

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video can often tell the whole story.

In line with our commitment to appropriate Technology we can provide videos in VHS and DV formats using different cameras. The latter can be delivered using DVD Writing technology that allows for easy presentation in court using laptops or small DVD combi TVs. These can be great for showing the judge just what conditions are like at a dangerous junction. We have done “drive-throughs” with the camera mounted on the dashboard and this gives an excellent perspective. This technology is also great for showing how a complicated machine works and the safety devices and how they are used.

We also have a number of cameras capable of shooting MPEG video. While some of this is of suffficient quality to display in court, the main use we have found is in providing clients with more detailed explanations using very short clips. As well as the video a clear audio description is given where possible/appropriate. These clips can be shrunk further to WMV files that are easily deliverable over the Web where required.

In short we can develop an appropriate strategy for using technology to explain things even better to the appropriate audience.
