Property Claims

We have been providing important services to clients in relation to Property Claims since we started. As well as his better known experience in the Liability area, John Higgins was also responsible for supervising a busy insurance company claims unit that had a large property throughput. Highly developed systems for that time were put in place by John and the unit achieved first place nationally for it’s response to claims in the Annual Broker Survey.

Since that time John worked with a major Property Adjuster for a period and has used this experience to excellent effect in Higgins Claims Services. We have access to all the necessary prices, rates and techniques for effective property adjusting. The Case Management abilities are similar to Liability but the important differences have also been learned. Many cases may involve recoveries and we believe that our particular expertise lends itself especially well to this. There are also property cases where the quantum is simply not the only/major issue. In these cases there may be issues of liability and/or cover where we believe our expertise will be of real assistance.

Most of all the clients who use and recommend us for property work do so because when they instruct us, they know that John Higgins will be the one to make the contact, attend to the loss and deal with the matter personally. They know that the policy holder will be met by a genuine professional with a real concern for the fair settlement of their claim under the terms and conditions of the policy.
